GeroWallet Beta Release
The beta version of GeroWallet is now available on the Google Chrome Store
GeroWallet, Cardano’s first all-in-one wallet, designed for ease of use and comprehensive functionality, is proud to announce its beta release. The browser wallet can be downloaded from the Google Chrome Web Store beginning August 12, 2021.
We have put together a simple step-by-step guide on how to set up and use the wallet to send and receive ADA.
Step 1. Add the GeroWallet extension from the Chrome Web Store. After completing step 1, please proceed to step 9 if you are recovering a 15 key seed phrase from AdaLite or Yoroi. Daedalus 24 word seed phrase is not currently supported at this time, it will be added later.
Step 2. Open the GeroWallet extension within your browser.
Step 3. Select your language.
Step 4. For first-time users, select Create Cardano Wallet. We will cover how to restore an existing wallet in Step 9.
Step 5. Enter a password that meets the requirements, check the Terms of Use box, and acknowledge that GeroWallet cannot recover your password if you lose it.
Step 6. Your secret backup phrase will be displayed on the next screen. This phrase is critical for restoring or backing up your wallet. We recommend writing it on a physical piece of paper and storing it somewhere safe. We do not recommend storing it on your personal computer or mobile device. Never share the backup phrase with anyone, under any circumstances. Doing so would grant them access to your wallet and ALL the funds stored within it. This phrase is unique to every wallet and CANNOT be changed.
Step 7. Select the words to confirm that you have stored your secret backup phrase.
Step 8. Give your new GeroWallet a name and click continue.
Congratulations! You have created a new wallet.

The following steps are for users who want to restore an existing Cardano wallet.
Step 9. If you are restoring an existing ADA wallet to GeroWallet, select Restore Wallet.
Step 10. Enter your secret backup phrase (i.e. seed phrase).
Congratulations! You have successfully restored your wallet.

Let’s walk through the easy steps of using your new GeroWallet.
Step 1. Open the wallet from the browser extension.
Step 2. Enter your password to log in.
Step 3. Your main account dashboard will be displayed.
Step 4. To send ADA, select the Send button.
Step 5. Enter the amount of ADA to send and the recipient’s address, then click send.
Step 6. Click Confirm to send. You will receive confirmation within a few moments of your transaction.
Step 7. To receive ADA, select your address at the top then “copy to clipboard”.
Step 8. Copy your unique wallet address and share with your friends to send ADA. You will see your balance change once received from sender, viewing the transaction on the history tab.
Here are a few easy steps to purchase ADA with fiat via Moonpay
Step 1. On your wallet dashboard, click on Buy
Step 2 Agree to go to the Moonpay website to start your purchase.
Step 3. If the quoted price is acceptable, click on Continue. The quote is refreshed every 10 seconds to get you the latest price.
Step 4. Enter your personal information to initiate the purchase of cryptocurrency. Details may vary depending on your country. Start with your email address.
Step 5: A confirmation number will be sent to your email address. Enter that here.
Step 7. Enter your name and address and valid cell/mobile number.

Signing out of the wallet
Step 1. Select the Account tab at the bottom right.
Step 2. Select Sign out. You will need to put in the password you first used to create/recover the wallet to sign back in.
