GeroWallet x Tokhun
GeroWallet is delighted to announce a strategic partnership with Cardano’s NFT and FT minting and marketplace, Tokhun. To kick-start this partnership, GeroWallet will auction the CNFT won during the Cardanian Cup in October. Proceeds from the auction will go to Drop4Drop, a non-profit organization that funds sustainable clean water solutions to countries that need it most.
Tokhun is an NFT minting and marketplace founded by a group of like-minded individuals with a wealth of technical and creative experience. The platform also features premium partners who are vetted for quality and personal pages that allow users to showcase minted assets. As a security feature, Tokhun also has a system to verify the authenticity of NFTs and FTs traded on their platform.
Up for auction, is the CNFT that we won in the Cardanian Cup in October. Thanks to the support from our community, GeroWallet emerged victorious, defeating some of the top Cardano projects.
Back in October, we promised our community, whose unwavering support continues to be crucial, that if GeroWallet came out on top, the CNFT would be auctioned off and all proceeds would go towards Drop4Drop, a non-profit organization dedicated to relieving the global water crisis.
Drop4Drop funds sustainable clean water to countries that need it by employing local labourers and heavily involve the community in the project, creating a sense of ownership and pride. Every project they undertake provides clean water to a community of over 1000 people who have never before had this privilege.
The auction will be launched December 13th on Tokhun and will be live for one week. We would like to invite our community to be a part of the auction and help us raise money for this amazing cause!
What makes our CNFT so special?
The NFT trophy for the second CardanianCup was modelled after Atlas, a Titan god in Greek mythology who was condemned to carry the heavens upon his shoulders. He is also the ultimate embodiment of endurance. Atlas was also the god who taught mankind the art of astrology, allowing them to navigate the seas and track the seasons.
The face of this trophy is none other than that of Charles Hoskinson. As one of the main founders of Cardano, Charles has played an instrumental role in the development of the project through the years. Despite the doubt and uncertainty that has plagued Cardano throughout its development, Charles has persisted and insisted to focus on quality instead attempting to deliver a subpar product.

The platform features a smart contract enabled marketplace, fully automated auction system and Fungible Tokens(FT)/ Non-Fungible Token(NFT) minting. Users can also create a personal page to showcase their minted NFTs. Content showcased on the platform is heavily vetted for quality and verifiable for authenticity.
